Prologue

Part One - Chapter One - Transition

In this first chapter, a Multiple Myeloma diagnosis was the ultimate catalyst that forced me to reevaluate my priorities and seek out what truly gave my existence meaning.

In the midst of fear and uncertainty, I went off grid, finding solace in the vast, open landscapes, and the quiet strength of the mountains. Montana became my source of comfort and inspiration.

Part One - Chapter Two - ReGenesis

I begin to confront my diagnosis, understanding that moving forward requires shedding emotional baggage I'd carried for most of my life.

As my dog, Rupert, and I explore our new playground, we experience our first taste of unbridled freedom.

Despite the heaviness of my thoughts, there's an undeniable joy in this moment - a lightness neither of us had known before.

Part One - Chapter Three - Acceptance

The weight I'd carried for years – the hurt, the anger, the constant push and pull of family expectations – began to lift. In its place grew something new: Acceptance.

This was a moment of profound connection – with nature, with myself, with the very essence of being. In that instant, I knew. This was my new beginning.
