You select from an array of enchanting locations in Sedona, Flagstaff and Jerome for the fieldwork.
We’ll plan the shoot together, and I’ll direct you in framing your vision cohesively.
We work on your images, and you are given individualized homework after each session.
You’ll instill foundational skillsets and develop planning, image management and processing workflows that will change your creative life.
You’ll learn how to take the shot regardless of conditions, and will never panic on location again.

Having attended countless workshops and conferences over the years, I discovered that smaller, intimate groups yielded the most effective learning experiences. These gatherings not only provided lasting knowledge but also introduced me to fascinating individuals, ultimately enriching my life immensely. When contemplating how to best share my expertise with others who share a passion for photography and nature's wonders, I drew upon these past experiences for inspiration. It became evident that the ideal workshop structure should offer students the specific education they sought within an environment where they felt heard and empowered to control the learning pace.
Private instruction emerged as the clear path forward, as it seemed the only way to effectively impart years of mastery in just a few hours of focused, personalized attention. Recognizing your uniqueness, the class structure allows you to customize your learning experience by mixing and matching modules according to your preferences. We then collaborate to create a logical flow for your program, incorporating flexibility that enables you to dedicate ample time to areas that initially prove challenging to grasp. There are a LOT of Classes, because there’s a LOT to learn. For the more complex field and processing techniques, such as astrophotography and focus stacking, my recommendation is that you allow plenty of time for practice and re-shoots before you move onto the next subject. It’s the surest way to retain your newly found knowledge.

We estimate how many hours or days you should allow to learn your chosen syllabus.
You decide whether to book classes individually over a period of time, or block book a retreat for a few days on location in Red Rock Country.
So YOU determine the cost. It’s purely based on the complexity of the module, your existing skillset and how quickly you learn.
